2021年5月21日，一群来自古晋、诗巫和美里的文化人、媒体人、艺术工作者和旅游业者召开一场线上交流活动，一致决定筹组砂拉越文创协会，于是即席成立筹备会，按章向社团注册局提出申请。

On May 21, 2021, a group peoples from cultural, media, artist and tourism industries from Kuching, Sibu and Miri held an online meeting and decided to organize form the SARAWAK CREATIVE ARTS AND CULTURAL ASSOCIATION, so the preparatory committee was established at the same time.
